Grosvenor Arch is actually a double arch. The base of the arch is in the Entrada Sandstone. Locally, the uppermost Entrada is known as the Henrieville Sandstone. The arch is capped by the Conglomerate at Butler Valley. (Bowers, 1983; USGS Coal Investigations Map C-95)
